The etsy store is up with our first item! Princess mittens 
Take a look! These were knitted by my Mum, and we’ll be putting more items up soon! We go away to lanzarote on the first of october to the 15th so if we don’t sell before then the items will go down for two weeks, but then back up.. Expect more mittens, hats, scarfs, blankets, bags, and maybe clothes and accessories too! We hope to do commisions one day too

So, me and my mum are opening an etsy store! We are gonna sell knitwear, baby clothes, and toys that we make and possibly other things too.. I’m supposed to be setting it up this morning.. but I can’t think of a name! All the ones we think of are already taken T_T! I’m going to try and focus and put alot of work into this shop because thanks to the recession there are NO jobs needed in my area, i’m not even exaggerating.
Anywhom, Help me think of a name! The first things to be posted in the store are two pairs of baby mittens. One knitted with multicoloured wool, one pair are white with knitted little pink roses on the bottom.. So if you know anyone who’s expecting, get on our etsy store! (That is of course after I’ve named it) ¬_¬

I got a dianaF+ camera for my birthday, and we sent my film off last week to be processed.. And my photos have arrived today! Some of them are amazing, well I think so anyway. I’m getting quite into this reverse technology lark, but don’t get me wrong i still love my digital camera.. In the great words of willy wonka ‘you gotta go forward to go back’ Anyway, enough of my retarded rambling.. onto the pictures;

Can you imagine if you like, lived in a campervan or a caravan? It’d be amazing.. youd be able to move your house around like the guy in up.. minus the balloons. It’d be amazing. I keep dreaming about having a caravan with purple walls and green paintings and wallhangings or a blue vw camper. We used to caravan when i was younger it was fun.. and Suzi Blu (being the fantabulous woman she is) got me thinking about it again.. and then yesterday my mums friend bought a new caravan and showed us inside… Its wonderful. If I live inside one of these fantasies for real would that make me like a hippy? or a gypsy.. or both.. and where would my income come from. I doubt i’ll ever become an established artist or win the lottery. Or maybe just for holidays. Then it would be like having two houses! Okay Katie.. your sixteen and dont have one house.. never mind a driving liscence because you arent old enough.
pretty pretty. I was thinking about saving up to go away to ibiza, yet now i am thinking about holidaying in a ‘romany vardo’. And yes, I am totally aware of the fact that i am totally deluded.

I just thought i should tell you i didnt waste my inspiration. I made a picture. I dont have a picture of my picture but I will show you soon. I am being positive. I want to make more pictures!… I try not to think alot when I start to draw. If I tell myself ‘Katie, this is what you are going to draw!’ I just can’t do it… I got some water soluable pencils. I got 24 of them from tesco. I love tesco. I applied for a job there today. I dont know how that will go :S i also ate a scotch egg.. they are my favourite food (coming close with pickeled onions and chinese food).. and I bought a GIANT bottle of oasis. I’m gonna go and fetch it now when I go downstairs in a minute. It’s my sisters birthday today. Maybe I should make her s drawing. I’ll try too. I’m going with her later to get her nails done so we can sit and yap.. or i can sit and wait for her. And then we are going for a meal. Giant cold refreshing oasis is calling.. will write again soon..

This week I like Kerli and Florence and The Machine. Well, I have liked them for about a year.. but at the moment I can’t get enough. If you havent heard anything by either i’d recommend ‘Love is Dead’ and ‘Walking on air’ by Kerli, and ‘drumming song’ and ‘girl with one eye’ by Florence and the machine.
Hmm… I read that what bores me will also bore the reader. This inspires me to write something utterly retarded. But I won’t….or will I? I’M DRAWING AGAIN. Wowsers. Maybe I will post some drawings up here. Maybe I will so some paintings… it depends. Dooo I feel inspired? The answer is yes.. YES I DO! (lol zoe) I was reading my mums magazine. I found a cute cushion by Laura Ashley… Then we changed internets hosts last night.. at midnight. and I went on Suzie blus blog.. and then i looked at some audrey kawasaki pieces.. Inspired me.. So does everything at the moment. ITS SUNNY! Spring in september and winter in august. England is a strange place. Maybe I should have some pictures.. pictures aren’t boring.
Oh the cushion.. i love it! If only I had a spare 28 quid. Even if i did, I’d probably spend it on xbox 360 games and sweeties… Oh well. Anyways.. i’ll leave it at that. Good bye.
